Blake Sorensen, Owner and Lead Restoration Technician

Blake founded Wendell Restoration San Diego in 2006 and still runs jobs himself, not just the office. He holds IICRC certification in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, and he is the one who signs off on moisture readings before a job closes. His specialty is psychrometric drying (tracking the air’s moisture level so we know when your home is truly dry, not just surface-dry), and he has spent nearly two decades learning exactly how San Diego’s marine layer and coastal humidity change drying times from La Jolla to Lakeside. Blake is the kind of person who will stand in your garage and tell you what the repair actually costs and why, line by line, before anyone plugs in a fan. Off the job, he is usually trying to keep his vegetable garden alive through another dry Santa Ana season.

Marcus T., Senior Installer and Equipment Specialist

Marcus has been running dry-out equipment for more than eleven years, and he can tell you the cfm rating on a Dri-Eaz blower or an XPOWER air mover without looking at the label. Her background in property management gives her a sharp eye for the kind of slow, hidden damage that property owners tend to miss until it is expensive, like the slow drip behind a refrigerator in a Clairemont rental. Elena is direct, no-nonsense, and runs trail races in her spare time.
